Mapei Primer SN™ [NA] is a two-component, filled epoxy primer designed to improve the adhesion of cementitious flooring systems and multilayer resin flooring, such as Mapei's Mapefloor, Ultratop, PlaniLevel and Planitop EL systems and multilayer traffic deck systems.
It is a low-viscosity, low-VOC formula that can be applied to damp surfaces. Under cementitious toppings and self-leveling underlayments it is used with the sand broadcast method. Part A and Part B are mixed together as a full kit (80:20 by mass); do not mix partial quantities. Coverage is about 401 sq ft per gallon at 4 wet mils and 178 sq ft per gallon at 9 mils on a CSP #3 profile. Foot traffic is possible after 4 to 6 hours at 73°F.
