The Forte 6 PCD Cup Wheel carries six 1/4 PCD (polycrystalline diamond) segments around its rim. Instead of grinding a coating down, PCDs scrape and shear it off the concrete, so thick or gummy materials like epoxy, urethane, paint, glue, mastic and thinset come off without loading up the wheel.
Like every diamond cup wheel, it mounts on an angle grinder to reach the areas a floor grinder can’t: along walls, around columns and drains, in corners, on steps and at slab edges. That makes it the edge-work partner for coating removal on a floor grinder.
Use it before re-coating a floor, when taking up old flooring adhesive, or anywhere a standard metal-bond wheel would smear or glaze over.
