Helix Repel WB

Helix Repel WB is a water-based silicone water repellent made from a hybrid of silane and siloxane. It penetrates porous construction materials such as concrete, brick, stone, concrete block, mortar and grout, and helps protect both new and existing concrete from salt, freeze and water damage. With less than 100 g/l VOC, it fits today's low-VOC requirements.

Its active ingredients come in a mix of particle sizes to fill voids of different sizes, and they react chemically with the substrate for long-lasting water repellency. Water beads up fast on treated surfaces, and once dry the sealer does not change the substrate's original appearance. It can be applied to dry or damp concrete, including freshly poured concrete once the bleed water is gone and the surface is solid enough to walk on.

Apply Helix Repel WB with a sprayer, roller or brush; rolling gives the best results. Coverage is approximately 200 sq. ft. per gallon per coat, depending on the porosity of the surface. It is not suitable for very low-porosity substrates such as polished stone, and should not be used on surfaces that have been previously sealed. Always test a small area first. Available in 5-gallon pails.
