The Midwest Rake® CAM® Gauge Rake is a patented "goof-proof" tool for applying materials at a precise, uniform depth. It is ideal for decorative concrete toppings, self-leveling and high-performance coatings, and underlayments. In many applications a gauge rake can do the work in half the time it takes with a squeegee, and with greater precision.
The depth is set by the CAMs on each end of the frame. When a contact point wears, loosen the wing nut and rotate the CAM to a fresh edge; the radial design keeps the thickness consistent, even with varying handle angles and lengths. The 24" frame has an aluminum frame with a threaded handle adapter (handle sold separately). The 10" rake is for small areas and countertops and has its own fixed handle with grip. CAM sets are sold separately for both.
