Simiron 1100SL is a 100% solids, zero-VOC, blush-resistant, self-leveling epoxy. It is a build coat for use over sealed concrete where high build and durability are needed, and it has good chemical resistance.
Use it with decorative chip, quartz or metallic additive to build attractive, durable floor systems, or broadcast non-skid aggregate into it for a slip-resistant surface. It mixes 2 parts base to 1 part activator by volume and is applied at 10 to 30 wet mils (about 160 to 53 sq ft per gallon). With the standard activator, light foot traffic is possible after about 10 hours and full cure takes 5 days at 72°F. Slow and fast cure activators are also made for longer working time or cooler conditions.
Prime bare concrete with Simiron 1000HS Primer first. Where moisture vapor emission is high, Simiron MVB Moisture Vapor Barrier Primer may be required.
