Simiron 1150FC is a 100% solids, zero-VOC, fast-cure hybrid epoxy primer. It lets installers put down a decorative chip or quartz floor that can be completed in a day, and it can be used with Simiron Polyaspartic HS Fast Cure at temperatures as low as 35°F.
It mixes 2 parts base to 1 part activator by volume and is applied at 3 to 16 wet mils (about 533 to 100 sq ft per gallon). At 72°F it is tack free in about 2.5 hours, takes light foot traffic after about 5 hours and can be recoated after 4 hours. Simiron calls for 16 mils total where moisture vapor tolerance is needed.
