Simiron 971EPS is a two-component, high-solids, low-VOC epoxy siloxane floor coating. It resists abrasion, chemicals, corrosion, UV exposure and weathering, and gives the benefits of a high-performance epoxy and a polyurethane in one coating while being free of isocyanates. It comes in satin and gloss.
It mixes 2 parts base to 1 part activator by volume, by hand with the stir stick provided (do not drill mix, never mix more than one kit at a time). Apply at 320 to 535 sq ft per gallon kit and no thicker than 8 mils. At 72°F it has about 25 minutes of working time, takes light foot traffic after 12 to 16 hours and reaches full cure in 5 days.
