The Z Counterform Sink Form from Concrete Countertop Solutions creates the opening for an undermount sink in a cast-in-place concrete countertop. It is an 8 ft long, 3-1/4" tall self-adhering flexible form that conforms to most undermount sinks.
For double-bowl sinks, notch the form with a utility knife to bridge the divider. For tight-radius corners, warm it with a blow dryer or heat gun so the plastic bends more easily. A zero-radius sink needs the form cut into 4 pieces, one for each side. The sink must have vertical walls, and the form will not adhere to composite sinks.
